Definition:

In Jungian therapy, painting is used as an expressive tool to access and represent unconscious material. It often reveals symbols, archetypes, and emotions that are difficult to articulate verbally.

Example:

Painting allows clients to explore their inner world creatively, facilitating self-awareness and healing. For instance, creating abstract imagery might help a client process feelings of grief or confusion.
